I am committed to preserving Ward 6’s history and heritage while ensuring future developments protect neighbourhood character and property values. Together it will be essential to establish strong preservation ordinances with clear guidelines for restoring and renovating historic buildings. Future housing developments must blend in with the existing neighbourhood style, including architectural designs, building materials, and landscaping.

One of our Ward’s key strengths is our beautiful streets and green spaces. Maintaining our parks, supporting the preservation of the River Valley, and creating new green spaces, including new walking and biking paths, will preserve this community's identity. As your next Ward 6 councillor, I promise to evaluate the effectiveness of preservation and development policies and to ensure your voices are heard as the city adjusts strategies based on feedback and changing community needs.
